"Antique Indian Bronze Miniature Parvati Female Power Hindu Goddess C 17th (2)"
*This small bronze figure represents Parvati, a wife of Siva holding a lotus, one of the peaceful aspects of Shakti (female power). Parvati is often seen as a role model for wives and has her counterpart living in every woman, as Siva does in every man. This figure of Parvati is part of a collection of Indian bronze miniatures that I have for sale now (see last photo). The figures were made in India in the 17th century and were produced for use in temples, domestic shrines and by pilgrims.
