This hardcover book bound by Jean Engel (1811-1892), the French bookbinder who collaborated with Hetzel for Jules Verne's Voyages Extraordinaires.
This charming work includes three stories: The Fontenoy Bridge; A Parisian in Brittany; and Marion Bréhat. Very easy to read or tell to children, it is illustrated with 46 high quality engravings.
A handwritten mention mentions Berthe Sauvaire in January 1890.
