Very beautiful painting, gouache on vellum, 17th time, French or Flemish school, representing a medallion portrait of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, wearing crown and mantle decorated with ermine, holding two attributes: a sword in the right hand and the palm of martyrdom in the left hand. In a beautiful carved and gilded wooden frame, decorated with roses and foliage, under glass. The whole is in good condition, see photos above.
