Original tea caddy painted in green faux marble and covered with a brass trim.
this tea box has two compartments lined with pewter with its original lids.
it is curved in the manner of travel trunks from the early 19th century and is decorated on all sides in the manner of the marbled papers that we usually find inside these same trunks.
the green color is colorful and vivid, in malachite style from Russia, slightly varnished.
the brass sconces are finely worked and chiseled with floral motifs, with a cartouche on the front for the lock and hard on the top.
