"Large Pair Of Wall Lights 1950 In Brass"
Rare large pair of "Joncs" model brass wall lights from the 1950s. The 3 sconces of each wall light end with elongated bulbs hidden in satin frosted glass tubes. The ends of the glassware are decorated with a perforated brass appendage allowing the circulation of hot air around the bulbs. The sconces are hung on the wall by an eyelet provided for this purpose. The electrification has been redone and works perfectly. Only two glassware out of the six have a slight accident at the base (see photo) which is absolutely not visible when the glassware is placed in their frame. In fact, 3 screws on each frame are screwed into the throat of the glassware ensuring total stability. Per wall light, 3 bulbs of 40W each give a beautiful diffuse, non-blinding lighting. Both sconces are in excellent general condition and allow to create a most original decor.
