These spoons bear the alliance arms, engraved after their manufacture, of Count Jules BOSELLI and Anna de CHALVET de ROCHEMONTEIX, with a helmet and a crown.
Count Jules BOSELLI (1847-1928), married in 1879 Anna, daughter of the Marquis de CHALVET de ROCHEMONTEIX (1851-1931).
The BOSELLI family comes from the Brembanna valley, in the province of Bergamo, in the heart of upper Lombardy. By family tradition, its origins date back to the 11th century.
Their coat of arms is explained by the feats of the 1st BOSELLI.
Historian Achille MUZIO, of Bergamo, relates that around 1350, during a popular revolt, peasants invaded the city of Bergamo determined to gain the upper hand over the noble rulers. While the latter seemed to suffer the most, a brave young man, Obizzone BOSELLI, mounted on an angry ox, entered with fury into the ranks of the enemies, brandishing his sword and dispersing them. Choosing a career in arms and entering the service of Emperor Robert of BAVARIA, he became a cavalry general. To reward his courage and skill, demonstrated in the war against Galeazzo VISCONTI, the sovereign appointed him Count Palatine, title also transferable to his descendants.
Judge, historian, composer, poet and librettist, Edme Jules Benedetto BOSELLI leaves to posterity several historical works of references as well as poems, serenades and musical works including a triumphal march .
We know in particular of Count BOSELLI Genealogy Tables of the Capetian dynasty ... (Paris, 1885) wich the copy of the Duc d'Orleans, bearing a signed autograph dedication, from the library of the Count of Paris, was offered for auction in July 2020.

CHARLES-JOACHIM-BENJAMIN DALLEMAGNE, master in Paris in 1786
Born in 1759, Charles-Joachim-Benjamin DALLEMAGNE registered his first mark, CJB a mallet between the 29March 1786. He moved to rue St-Denis, sponsored by Louis-Julien ANTHIAUME, son of Jacques ANTHIAUME, bothrenowned cutlers. He then moved to 11, rue des orfèvres.
DALLEMAGNE registered two post-revolutionary marks in 1801 and 1807 for silverware: the cutlery. If his first mark appeared on a number of gold boxes and wax cases in the 1780s , his later mark was only registered on cutlery, probably because it was then a more buoyant market. Its production, however, remains very luxurious and marked by high goldsmithing, as illustrated by an exceptional gilt-edged dessert housewife from 1809-1819, probably made for a member of the royal family of Bavaria .
Benjamin DALLEMAGNE died in 1821.
