"Louis XIV Period Inkwell."
Louis XIV inkwell with Boulle tortoise shell brass marquetry. The inkwell is made up of three rectangles receiving the inkwell and its utensils in the long rear part, a concave part decorated with Boulle marquetry, on the right side a small drawer to store letter paper. The sides are mahogany with quarter-round brass chopsticks and brass veneer legs enhance this "little piece of furniture". I like the width of the Boulle marquetry of the concave reserve.
