Pair of subjects by the Parisian artist of the second half of the 19th century Alfred Barye "The Son" sculptor of the Belle Époque, student of his father the artist Antoine-Louis Barye. Chiseled bronze statuettes with brown patina representing two characters on a circular molded bronze base. The bronzes are signed Barye Fils on the terraces. Sculptures of great finesse, showing many details such as the details of the costume, the fabrics and especially the face and hands. The sculpture is 20 cm high + a 2 cm high base, the total height is 22 cm. Weight of a statue: about 1.5kg
