Secretary Louis XVI stamped by Jean Caumont and punch of Jurande. Rosewood and amararanth marquetry in butterfly wings with Greek fillets. In the upper part a drawer, a flap revealing 6 drawers, 2 leaves in the lower part. Uprights with cut sides. Jean Caumont Parisian cabinetmaker gained a master's degree in 1774 and ten years later became a deputy or councilor of his community. Caumont excels in the manufacture of secretaries and dressers. Their compositions are elegant and full of finesse.
