Object description :

"Courtyard Of Animals And Flowers - Flamish School Of XVIIth Century"
"Courtyard with animals and flowers" - David de Coninck (Anvers1636-Bruxelles1687) Oil on canvas Canvas sizes 30 x 38 Frame 50 x 58 The painting is in very good condition This beautiful jewel painted in oil on canvas in the the most characteristic Flemish tradition is obviously a work by David de Coninck. Inimitable painter in the representations of pets and court animals, as well as beautiful still lifes, he condenses in this small work all his pictorial peculiarities creating a fantastic landscape in vaguely celestial tones. Animals and flowers in the foreground, painted with rare finesse, blend into a particularly pleasant scene made even more interesting and articulated by the luminous landscape in the background. Remarkable are the many animal and botanical species represented and the extraordinary imagination described in detail with incredible miniaturist precision. It is a higher level painting which the Flemish master probably painted as a large-scale working project. The works of De Coninck are distinguished, in fact, in addition to the great pictorial capacity of the Author, by their remarkable size. His large canvases, in addition to embellishing the walls of important private palaces, are exhibited in international museums. We apologize for the quality of the photos which, due to the thoroughness of the subjects painted in micropainting, it is difficult to focus.
