Revolver brand "JAVELLE Michel, gunsmith in St-Etienne, patent of 1859", XIX °. Second Empire period. Revolver of the open casing type and breaking by key. Double and single action mechanism in perfect working order. Opening by system of tilting and unlocking of the axis of the barrel, which is actuated by means of the key located under the barrel. Marking under the hinge of the key: "JAVELLE -M -St-ETIENNE- BTE-SGDG". Petrol blue tan finish on all metal parts, very good condition, practically close to new condition. Rifled inner barrel carrying sighting member, 10.5 cm long, 9 mm caliber, Lefaucheux type pin cartridge, barrel capacity 6 shots, bearing the N ° 665. Same number 665 on the trigger, trigger under trigger guard (petrol blue). Loading of the weapon, by extraction of the barrel or change by a second pre-loaded barrel. Walnut stock, petrol blue blued metal cap. Total length: 22 cm. Weight: 470 grs. Very good state of conservation and use, close to original new condition, see photos.
