Profile of a young woman, Victoria, Duchess of Nemours, née Saxe de Coburg. (1822-1857), a figure of the time of the July Revolution. Her full name is Victorine-Augustine-Antoinette.
There are several versions of his profile portrait, including a plaster profile by J.-A. Bars at the Carnavalet museum and also the porcelain bisque silhoutte from the Sèvres factory.
The young woman wears a bun, has an uncovered neck and curled hats that flare around her face.
The marble bas-relief It was fixed in the 20th century on a wooden support with an oval frame painted in imitation marble.
On the back of the support it bears the modern brushed sceitta with the name of the person depicted.
