"19th Ivory Box"
19th C. Dieppe ivory round box. It is delicately decorated with a blindfolded cherub holding a dog on a leash on a very finely openwork background. The reverse has a very beautiful decoration of a bouquet of roses surrounded by a frieze. At the edge, the frieze is incomplete but these lacks do not detract from the refinement of the decoration of this box. Diameter: 5cm H: 1.4cm
