Birmingham, England, enamel snuff box, circa 1760-1765.Enamelled copper. Painted in enamel colors.
Of rectangular shape with gilt metal mounts, the lid painted in colored enamels with galant and a pair sitted in a garden with roses and a bridge.
Two sides painted with landscapes, man fishing, classical italianate ruins. Other two faces are painted with florers painted in raised gold. White inside.
The bottom with geometrical rococo ornament in relief.
Some craquelure and signs of wear and use.
