Napoléolll Micro-mosaic Bracelet

Napoleon III period bracelet in gilded metal decorated with 6 oval medallions in mico-mosaic on onyx representing birds and wreaths of flowers. Each medallion is different and very colorful: the scenes stand out well on the black of the onyx. The medallions are connected to each other by finely chiseled rings which overlap each other. The bracelet is in good condition; one can however note 2 tiny elats on the onyx which are difficult to detect and a golden metal blackened in places. Beautiful old bracelet from the 19th century, with a charming decoration, probably brought back from Italy by travelers making the "Grand Tour" L: 19.5cm l: 2.5cm
