"Stamp Box"
Original rosewood stamp box. The exterior is covered with a silver leaf with patterns of flowers, foliage and windings on a radiant background. In the center, presence of a decorative cartouche which was certainly intended to affix the initials of the owner of the box but which was not used. The rosewood interior is three compartments. The reverse is covered with shagreen and a silver triangle at the 4 corners; the reason for the presence of the letters TR in capitals is not known to me. 9.5 x 5cm H: 3.8cm Good condition.
