Henri Dechanet. Painter and stained glass artist, born in 1930 in Meknes (Morocco) and died in 2019 in Requena (Spain). He divided his life between Uzes and Requena and was, by his marriage, the son-in-law of the painter Francisco Bores. He successively attended the Charpentier Academy, the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts, stained glass section, the National School of Decorative Arts, the stained glass workshops of Jacques le Chevallier then of Paul and Adeline Bony ( 1951), where he was offered to work on the stained glass windows for Henri Matisse. he created his own stained-glass workshop in 1955.
