Very elegant clock in the Empire style, from the Napoleon III period. Fine sculpture of a patinated bronze musician cherub playing the lyre. The faithfully reproduced musical instrument adorned with swan necks and a couple of doves. The dial is inscribed in the central part of the lyre. composed of a white enamel ring indicating the hours, in the center an openwork pattern. Rectangular base decorated with palmettes and antique helmet, the whole rests on four lion's paw feet.Original mechanism without modification, hour and half hour strike on an old bell.
