Louis SUIRE (1899 - 1987) Emblematic painter of the Rochelaise School, famous for his landscapes of incomparable luminosity and for his talents as a colorist. His home port remains Ile de Ré where he resides in the hamlet of La Rivière, near Portes en Ré. (Artist's biography attached).
