Box In Arte Povera 18th

Rare box with rounded lid in beech wood lacquered eggshell with Arte Povera decorations. Probably an old wig box, looking at the dimensions. Decorated on all sides with animated scenes, such as hunting, mythology and gallantry. The figures are richly dressed in natural or imaginary settings, and are accompanied by birds, butterflies and dogs. Work in Arte Povera Venice from the end of the 18th century. Very good general condition.
