Rare small Empire period portico clock signed on the dial "Arminguaud Laine à Paris". In finely chiseled gilded mercury bronze. architecture with two fluted columns decorated with sphinxes and at the top of a mythological scene on the symbol of education. Particularity in the center of the columns, the space is occupied by a bas-relief, with a mythological scene on the theme of Medusa. In the center, domed white enamel dial accompanied by Breguet hands.

Original mechanism without modification, wire suspension, hour and half hour strike on old bell.

A compact model but very well proportioned with rich decorations all interesting so architectural typography is unusual.

Perfect authenticity and a remarkable state of conservation.
