Object description :

" Pair Of Candelabra 70cm Pierre Loison"
Magnificent pair of candelabras made up of a splendid and large sculpture in silvered bronze decorated with a young woman carrying a gilt bronze jar. Candlesticks with three lights in the style of neoclassicism. Round base chiseled with fluting, in contrasted white onyx and a translucent effect.

Each sculpture bears the stamp "P. Loisson" by sculptor Pierre Loison (1816-1886). Another inscription, difficult to read, certainly mentioning a factory "......... Boulevard de la madeleine.

The general aesthetic rendering is very beautiful, the finesse of the sculptures make this pair of candelabras very elegant, the silver bronze adds an important asset with a higher contrast, a pleasure for the eyes.
