Elegant 18th century portico clock, Louis XVI period, signed "Festeau le Jeune à Paris" watchmaker listed in the Tardy, dictionary of French watchmakers. Made up of white marble and a fine ornamentation in gilded bronze with mercury, finely chiseled.Four-column architecture supported by capitals. Dome-shaped entablature decorated with pine cones and a basin. Rich ornamentation of rows of pearls and small falling chains distributed on the front face and sides of the clock.
Beautiful domed dial in white mail, each hour is adorned with a small golden point, finely worked golden hands. Protected by curved glass. Space between the columns occupied by a sun pendulum.
Original mechanism without modification, suspension with silk thread, striking of the hours and half-hours on an old bell.
