"Pair Of Gouaches Representing The Seine Paris & Le Havre XIXth Century"
Pair of gouaches on paper, miniatures, representing Paris and Le Havre, these 19th century towns crossed by the Seine and whose industrial growth linked to modernity can be felt: iron bridge, naval traffic etc. Gouaches enhanced with graphite, historic work of a certain quality, probably dating from the first half of the 19th century. One of the two gouaches has a slight tear and chipping on the edges.
Pichepin frames with black nets. Framers brand from Quimper Manceaux-Talmy.
