Pair of gilded bronze sconces with two arms of light, model with the bow of ribbon. Signed Henri Vian "HV 354" circa 1880. The bronzier Henri Vian (father of Boris Vian) had installed his studio in the Hotel Salé (now Picasso Museum) in the Marais. Model identical to another model in our possession Signed by Henri Vian "HV 354" circa 1880. Could make a series of four period applique late nineteenth.
