Louis XV Period Walnut Firewall

Large walnut fire screen, Louis XV period, 18th century.
this fire screen is a very decorative piece of furniture.
the walnut structure is worked in all directions: fretwork, shells, foliage scrolls, flowers, acanthus leaves.
Take a good look at the photos because this firewall is very very nicely sculpted and the walnut is rather light in color with a very nice patina.
the inside of the firewall is trimmed with a pretty damask silk in green color, of course you can adjust the firewall as you like.
the silk of one of the two sides is damaged in several places look closely at the photos.
this firewall is very stable, the cabinetmaker has taken care to make very pretty shell feet with very prominent windings.
