French box containing a Bulldog type revolver, pocket version, in caliber 22 Short, with a screwdriver, a bronze cruet, a cleaning rod and the key to the box. XIXth century, Napoleon III period. Weapon polished white and engraved with arabesques on the metal parts. Ebony grips. The Dog and the folding trigger are blued. Barrel capacity 6 shots in caliber 22 short, Belgian hallmark on the entry of the barrel chambers, an "N" surmounted by a star at the entry of the other chambers. The number "48" struck on the frame at barrel height. Double action mechanism, case ejection rod present. Interior of the rifled barrel, loading door present. Lockable box (present), interior mounted in the French style on a brown velvet bed. Length: 20.5 CM Height: 4.5 cm Width: 12 cm. Good state of conservation and use, see photos.
