Object description :

"Pendulum In Faience Barbotine With Flowers, Impressionist Ceramic, Montigny Sur Loing"
Superb very decorative pendulum in earthenware slip by Jean Pointu (1843-1925). Represents a vase with a bouquet of opulent roses. The movement of the pendulum is off-center to highlight the ceramic.
Fontainebleau ou Montigny sur Loing
The roses are embossed decoration of a breathtaking reality. It is an impressionist-inspired ceramic dating from the end of the 19th century. The movement of the pendulum works but needs a wedge. Given the fragility of these ceramics, there are breaks and gaps on the rose petals, but the general condition is still good. It is all the charm of old objects ... Signed by Jean Pointu.
