Great Clock To The Vestals Era Napoléon III

Superb and very decorative pendulum in the Louis XVI style and from the Napoleon III period. Made of carrara marble and gilded bronze. Rare model with unusual architecture. main decoration of two vestals leaning on a column decorated with a musical trophy. They hold a bunch of fruits followed by a snake. Large enamel dial accompanied by golden hands, adorned at the top of a cupid on a cloud of clouds.

The ends are decorated with an Athenian in flame with the head of a ram. Richly crafted base adorned in the center of a rooster and various friezes. The whole rests on six spinning feet.
