Object description :

"Buddha, Bronze, Tang Style, Circa 18th"
Buddha represented seated (Vajraparyanka), the right hand in the gesture of absence of fear, of protection (Abhaya-mudra), the left hand symbolizes the gift (Varada-mudra) The expression of the face testifies to a deep meditation. Typical of the Tang style but probably of a later execution, around the 18th century. Partial cleaning, remaining gilding.
