Jean-Charles Moreux is a French architect, born in 1889, died in 1956. He distinguished himself by creations of furniture in a neo-classical and often poetic spirit. Graduated from Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1922, he is a friend of Jean Lurçat, works for Jacques Doucet, Baron De Rothschild, Viscount Charles de Noailles. Wrought iron armchair circa 1940, interpreting the sinuous line of the Louis XV style. Good condition, original paint.
