Very beautiful clock from the Restoration period circa 1830. Haute Manufacture, very finely chiseled sculpture with a lot of relief and decoration, in gilt bronze with mercury. Sculpture of Queen Eleonore of Habsburg. in a posture of reflection to write a letter intended for François Premier. Richly chiseled desk where the white enamel dial is inscribed. Large base adorned with a musician cherub decorated in a chiseled background with astronomical and musical instruments.

Original mechanism without modification, wire suspension, hour and half hour strike on old bell.

Perfect authenticity as well as a remarkable state of conservation.

Very decorative clock with a sublime mercury gilding very thick amatie and brilliant in order to increase the contrast of its many decorations.
