"Saint Albert, 18th Century Ceramics."
Albert the Great, also called Albert of Cologne, was born around 1200 in Bavaria, he died in 1280 in Cologne. Dominican, philosopher, theologian, chemist, he will be bishop of Ratisbone then will devote himself to teaching, he is represented in the habit of a monk holding in one hand a bishop 's crosier and in the other a book. This ceramic plate is an eighteenth century work, it is in good condition but has some small cooking defects. This earthenware tile is presented in a small molded baguette in natural wood as we have acquired it. Dimensions: 36.5 cm x 50 cm
