19th Pomponne-agate Seal

Interesting seal from the Napoleon III period with a slightly flattened cylindrical shape; it is in delicately chiseled pomponne. The top, forming a cover, opens to keep a stick of sealing wax. The matrix is in agate engraved with a monogram. Collector's item in good condition. H: 6cm L: 1.8cm
