"Table Clock, XIXth Century In Perfect Condition"
Clock table, oil on canvas depicting an animated country landscape, a clockwork mechanism equips the clock inserted in the church tower. Wire movement, angelus and cylinder music box. Label of the watchmaker manufacturer, Mr de la Rochette, Paris on June 22, 1857. Frame in wood and gilded and patinated stucco. In perfect working order, fully restored, frame, canvas and mechanisms. hst 80 X 64 cm, exterior 102 X 86 cm, thickness of the box 21 at the top and 16 at the bottom. Provenance: large private collection in the Paris region.
