Clock Chronos Era Napoléon III

Napoleon III period clock with the figure of a magnificent patinated bronze sculpture representing the god Chronos holding a scythe. With his other arm, he holds with one arm a cylinder on which is inscribed the dial, a Roman numeral in relief accompanied by thin golden hands, the whole protected by a glass door. On the base rests an obelisk chiseled on the front of hieroglyphics.

Original mechanism without modification, hour and half hour strike on an old bell. Spiral escapement.

Very decorative pendulum by its large sculpture, luminous set and of excellent quality in every way.
