Neo-Impressionist painter, winner of the "Grand Prix des Peintres Témoins de leur Temps" in 1972. Training at the Atelier Julien in Paris in 1920. He worked in Montmartre from 1935 and moved to New York after the Second World War. Returning to France, he spent these summers in the south of France and painted views of beaches, seascapes, bathers and villages in the South of France. These beach views are particularly sought after. Numerous exhibitions in France and abroad, London 1960, New York 1967-1970, Chicago 1971, Tokyo 1972-1979.
