- the next part bears a lunar dial formed by two brass discs, the larger is graduated with a 2 x 1-12 hour scale and a scale of the days of the moon from 1 to 30. A smaller pivoting brass disc on the top forms index, gives the phases of the moon and forms horizontal sundial (graduations 4-12-8).
- In the middle part there is a mirror and on the other side a paper with colored checkerboard decoration forming the cover of the next part.
- Horizontal sundial (graduations 4-12-8) in brass with folding gnomon fixed above a compass whose bottom is decorated with paper engraved with an 8 directions compass rose. Blued steel needle with brass pivot, and a glass on top.
