Biography:

Antal Berkes (1874-1938) Hungarian painter, born in Budapest, Hungary.
Berkes studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest between 1889 and 1894.
He began by painting landscapes, then cityscapes of Budapest, Vienna and Paris where he lived in Paris for a while.
