"Civil Percussion Pistol -1830/1850"
Civilian percussion pistol circa 1830-1850, XIX °. Octagonal damask barrel carrying "eyepiece and front sight" sights, inside of the barrel striped with fine hair-type stripes. Barrel length: 13 cm, muzzle diameter: 15 mm. Front plate bearing engraving, "ELG" hallmark on the left side of the barrel. Grain de poudre checkered walnut stock, opening metal cap for reserve of groundbaits, closing by a valve with flower decoration, half charolais trigger guard. Thumb rest present, functional mechanism, wand absent. Total length: 27 cm Barrel length: 13 cm Beautiful state of conservation and use, in its own juice, see photos.
