Stove made up of a large tank decorated with a frieze of ovals with tulip darts. The three feet form balusters with a double volute attached to the tank by an Ionic capital, continuing with a column with a bevelled edge and ending with feet with gadrooned windings on a wooden slider. In the extension of the balusters, three dish supports take up the gadrooned decoration of the feet. The grid of the tank is embellished with a decoration pierced with tulips with long stems alternating with tears, grid covering an openwork tank in braces to promote combustion.
The first stove listed to date is from 1715 [Cartier, n ° 185 p.593]; the first stove with a combustion chamber with a perforated grill was made by Pierre Tiron in 1717 [Cartier, n ° 173 p.584]. From 1720 [Cartier, n ° 128, p.557], the feet of the stoves were placed on wooden feet, and until the end of the century fixed the general shape of the stove in the jurisdiction of Lille. Only the openwork decoration or that of the feet are modified over time: gadroons, nets, geometric decorations, oves, pearls… Hallmarks: under the body: Master silversmith: a crescent topped with two crowned stars (large hallmark), for François Ricourt [Cartier, Vol. I, pp. 365-366]; Common house: Z under an archiducal crown for Lille, 1737-1738 [Cartier, Vol. I, p.220]; Recognition of Lille: a crowned fleur-de-lis for Lille, circa 1730-1760 [Cartier, Vol I, p.220]. Only the main body is stamped on this date. Coat of arms: under a count's crown, of silver, two crossed anchors with two crossed Cs. Coat of arms undetermined.
