"Ludions Bottle"
Souvenir of a pilgrimage to Notre Dame de Liesse (Aisne) here is a curious blown glass bottle on a pedestal containing about twenty ludions. Floats support small subjects in colored spun glass symbolically representing the instruments of Christ's passion (some accidents and losses). The top of the original flame sealed bottle has been chewed. Height: 33cm. End of XIX, 1900. Given the extreme fragility of the object, hand delivery to the store only.
