Carmelo CASTELLANO, painter born in 1925 and died in 2017 (Ec.Fr.). Abstract art constitutes almost all of his work. Installed in his Parisian workshop, he never stopped creating very strong works while being very gentle. An active member of the Réalité Seconde artistic group, he was present in group exhibitions at the Ariane gallery in Paris as well as at the Comparaison Salon also in the capital. This superb painting, an abstract work, oil on paper mounted on canvas, signed at the bottom by the hand of the artist and dated 19 (75) is the reflection of the talent of Carmelo CASTELLANO. On the back, there is a reference annotated by the artist "D1811". Height 46 cm. Width 55 cm (48 cm x 57 cm with its workshop frame). Work in good condition.
