"Eléments De Boiseries Simulant Des Portières De Rideaux Style Louis XVI Début XXème(55 X 64 Cm)"
These three elements of carved oak woodwork and gilded stucco are pretty, very decorative trompe l'oeil dating from the early twentieth century. In a Louis XVI style, imitating the doors of falling curtains, the sculpture perfectly takes up the pleats of the fabric, its fringes, tiebacks and tassels.
The large relief of all these decorative elements gives a very realistic impression. Aged gold and brown in color, this woodwork, depending on the light, retains it more or less strongly.
It is not common to have 3 which can offer a very original decoration. These elements are in good condition, with some gaps and a slight consolidation to be expected for one.
A woodwork is missing at the top left which causes a stall. They all have a hole in their center above, coming from the hanging.
