Object description :

"Stegkanne - Tin Needle (pewter) - Berne, XVIIIth Century"
AIGUIERE called “Stegkanne” in pewter baluster shape, with pedestal, long bridge spillway at the neck and hilly cover with palmette thumb. Hallmark of master incompletely affixed "with the crawling bear" of Johann PETERSHON received master in 1770.
Height: 31.5 cm.
BERNE, End of the 18th century.

In a perfect condition.
This form of medieval inspiration is often found in Flemish and Dutch iconography of "still life".
