"Louis Hottot (1834-1905) Orientalist Sculpture Height: 70 Cm"
Important Orientalist sculpture from the late 19th century signed on the L. HOTTOT terrace (louis Hottot 1829 - 1905) and bearing on the back a workshop stamp located in Paris. Art cast structure with polychrome patina representing an Orientalist composition featuring an Arab Rider presenting his Moukhala in the right hand and in the other the reins of his purebred horse mounted on a ceremonial saddle. Note a dedicated plaque located on the front. Good condition with normal wear and polychrome patina.
