" Clock Bronze Patinated And Marble "diane The Huntress""
Large Restoration period clock circa 1820 made of patinated bronze and sienna marble. Very beautiful scene with the figure of Diane Chasseresse seated in a stylized nature, surrounding with her arm the trunk of a tree and with her other hand holding her dog on a leash, both look at each other. Mercury gilded bronze dial accompanied by fine hands. Large base flanked by Diane's attributes. The front-facing feet are chiseled from a scene with a snake eating fruit and a ram's head.

Original mechanism without modification. Ringing of the hour and a half hour on an old bell.

Elegant pendulum with a large figure. The bronzes are of quality and finely chiseled. Uncommon model.

Perfect authenticity as well as a remarkable state of conservation
