"18th Century Regency Style Woodwork Mirror"
Elegant woodwork mirror known as "between two" in Regency style in carved and gilded wood from the 18th century. Its high crosspiece is adorned in its center with a shell with acanthus leaves surrounded by flowers and foliage on a background of braces. Its frame, the upper part of which is in a basket handle, receives a delicate decoration of interlacing and foliage "à la Berain". Its scalloped base cross receives in its center a decoration of acanthus leaves. Good condition, warm patina of the original gilding, some signs of wear.
