"Folding Chair In Carved Wood, Syria, XIXth Century"
Magnificent folding chair in carved wood inlaid with pastilles and star patterns of mother-of-pearl, Syria, early 19th century. Curved backrest, crowned with a pediment and two cartouches inscribed in Arabic. Very good general condition, normal wear (see photos). Seat height: approximately 47 cm Backrest height: 58 cm
