Miniature In Medallion, Drawing Representing A Revolutionary flag

Object description :

"Miniature In Medallion, Drawing Representing A Revolutionary"
Miniature medallion representing a man in profile, nice drawing of a revolutionary. This drawing is very close, because of its size and its style, to a physiognotrace drawing. I personally think this is more of a freehand pencil drawing straight on paper, however the two are really very close and often difficult to tell apart. This design is reproduced in color on the jacket, kept under a convex glass set with its brass frame with bronze medal patina. The set is in good condition and has been completely cleaned, to note: very slight accident at the neck.
